Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Guidance for Ship Operators for the Protection of the Health of Seafarers
This guidance has been designed to support all types of ships which operate in international waters to limit the spread of the Coronavirus.
On 5 March 2020, the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) issued brand new guidance for the global shipping industry to help combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). This document was produced in collaboration with prominent international bodies including the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the International Maritime Health Association (IMHA).
