Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Ang pagkuha ng ilang mga simpleng pag-iingat ay maaaring mabawasan ang mga pagkakataon na maimpeksyon o kumalat ang COVID-19.

COVID-19 ay ang nakahahawang sakit na sanhi ng pinakahuling natuklasan coronavirus. Ang bagong virus at sakit na ito ay hindi kilala nuon at nagsimula ito sa Wuhan, Tsina, noong Disyembre 2019. Ang sakit ay maaaring kumalat mula sa tao sa pamamagitan ng maliliit na droplets mula sa ilong o bibig kapag ang isang taong may COVID-19 umubo o huminga ng palabas. Kabilang sa mga karaniwang palatandaan ng impeksyon ang sintomas sa ating panghinga, lagnat, ubo, kakulangan ng paghinga at hirap sa paghinga. Sa mas malubhang kaso, impeksiyon ay maaaring maging sanhi ng pulmonya, malubhang sakit sa paghinga, paghina o bumigay ng bato at kahit kamatayan.
